The Reptiles Alive Facility
Our animals are kept in enclosures made especially for reptiles. While they are not at shows you may find lizards lying across branches basking under their full-spectrum sunlamps, snakes taking a bath in their very own pool, and turtles tasting succulent clover in their very own yard!
Most likely you will find the animals taking a nap. Have you ever wondered why most of the reptiles at the zoo are hiding? Reptiles spend most of their time snoozing. What a life!
We house our animals in two very large rooms. One room is heated in the high 80's for our tropical animals. Our other room is kept at a slightly lower temperature for animals that live in more temperate climates like our own.
All of our animals probably eat better than the humans who care for them do! Carnivores and insectivores are given only the tastiest variety of insects and meat.
The herbivores and omnivores are fed from Reptiles Alive's very own organic garden nearly year round!

Reptiles Alive is where our hard working animals go home to rest from work. We are not open to the public. If you would like to see our animals check out the Public Events Calendar or book your very own show and have the animals come to you!
